As a computer scientist, rocket scientist, and mathematician, Annie worked at NASA and it’s predecessor NACA for 34 years. She is best known for developing the software for Centaur: a high-energy, upper rocket stage that had its first successful launch in 1963, which ultimately led to the 1997 flight of the Cassini space probe to Saturn.
